Bailieborough Daffodil Day

I’m going all in against cancer this Daffodil Day and raising funds to support cancer patients and their families across Ireland.

🎗️ We’re Back for Daffodil Day 2026 🎗️

In March 2024, thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many people, we raised over €5,000 for the Irish Cancer Society. I was genuinely blown away by the support, and it meant more to me than I can properly explain. This year, we are back again.

Cancer has impacted my life in the most personal way. I lost both of my parents, Margaret and Micheal Lennon, to cancer. Watching what they went through, and what our family went through alongside them, changed me forever. You never truly understand the impact of a cancer diagnosis until it becomes part of your everyday life.

On Daffodil Day 2024, what struck me most was not only the generosity of people, but the conversations. So many people stopped to share their own stories. People spoke about how the Irish Cancer Society supported them, advocated for them, and helped them at times when they felt overwhelmed and alone. For many, the Society represents hope. That is why this matters.

Funds raised go directly towards vital services such as the Support Line, counselling, transport to treatment, financial support, and life changing cancer research. These are real supports for people facing incredibly difficult times.

If you would like to support this year’s fundraiser, you can donate directly through my fundraising page. You can also scroll to the bottom of this page for details about the fundraiser I will be hosting on 20 March at SuperValu Bailieborough, where we will be selling daffodils, baked treats and other goods. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps the Irish Cancer Society continue this important work.

Thank you for supporting this cause and for helping ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.

My Mam and Dad faced cancer with incredible strength. This fundraiser is for them.

Ní neart go cur le chéile 💛

Back at SuperValu for Daffodil Day 💛

Wednesday 4th Mar

We will be back again this year fundraising in person for Daffodil Day.

On 20 March, I will be joined by some amazing volunteers at SuperValu in Bailieborough (beside the Post Office) where we will be selling daffodils, baked treats and other small goods, with all proceeds going directly to the Irish Cancer Society.

Last time we did this in March 2024, the support from the community was incredible. People stopped by throughout the day to chat, donate, buy a treat, and share their own stories. It turned into such a lovely day and meant more than I could ever properly explain.

I’ve added a few photos from last year to the gallery so you can see just how special the day was.

If you are nearby on the 20th, please do pop down and say hello, our stall will be set up from 9.30 in the morning. Every donation, big or small, helps the Irish Cancer Society continue supporting people and families facing cancer across Ireland.

Thank you again to everyone who continues to support this 💛

Thank you to my Sponsors
