About our cause

This Daffodil Day, we’re urging you to stand with cancer patients and survivors and to Go All In Against Cancer. Every 3 minutes someone in Ireland hears those three lifechanging words ‘you’ve got cancer’. It’s predicted that 1 in 2 of us will hear that news in our lifetime.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate and there isn’t a family in Ireland that hasn’t felt the devastating impact of the disease. This is why on Daffodil Day together we give it our all: to bring hope, to provide support, to drive progress and to stand together against cancer.

Individual Fundraisers Daff 2025 image

We typically only receive 5% of our income from the Government so days like Daffodil Day are what allow us to continue to be there for every child and adult affected by cancer in Ireland.

Together we won’t stop pushing for a better, more hopeful future. On Daffodil Day you turn Ireland yellow in support of everyone affected by cancer.

Every day we are working towards a future where fewer people get cancer, more people survive their diagnoses and every adult and child has access to world-class, treatment, care, and support.
