Heroes from Home
Supporting Daffodil Day with your school or college
From non-uniform days, sports days and arts and crafts, to bake sales, vintage fairs and team challenges. Your school or university can make a difference and go all in against cancer for Daffodil Day 2024, on 22nd March.
You'll get a fundraising guide and materials to decorate and spread the word to your students, teachers and parents to support you to meet your target. You can also get daffodil themed arts and crafts and decorations, as well as some materials as-gaeilge.
Fundraising with your business or workplace
Sell Daffodil Silk Pins to your colleagues and customers, hold a bake sale, challenge event or quiz night, or get your colleagues involved in our 12,000 Steps Challenge. There’s loads of ways to support Daffodil Day in your workplace this March. You can even just make a special donation on behalf of your company.
Your impact on Daffodil Day
Ground breaking research
Each year you help to fund research projects across Ireland. These projects help to ensure more people can survive the disease and aid in cancer prevention.
Vital supports
You ensure qualified cancer nurses are available online, phone or in person in our 13 Daffodil Centres to offer free support, information and provide access to cancer support services.
Free patient services
Each year you help provide around 17,000 free drives to help people get to their hospital appointments, and over 6,000 nights of care so people can spend their final days with dignity at home, plus much more.
