Go Pink at work this October!

Whether you choose to make a big impact or start small, every contribution makes a difference. Host a fundraising event, sell pins in your workplace, or organise a team challenge! See all the ways that you can join in below!

There are lots of ways to go Pink this October.
How will you get involved?

Fundraise with your company

Organise a fundraiser with your colleagues.

Whether you host a coffee morning, have a bake-off or a pink-themed challenge, you can choose what works best for your team.

You can also request a box of pink ribbon pins to sell in your workplace.

Once registered, you will have access to a company fundraising page and our campaign assets to help you celebrate and promote your workplace event.

Make a Donation and Support Breast Cancer Patients

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, your company can make a meaningful difference.

Your company’s donation will mean that people affected by breast cancer can access vital transport to chemotherapy, counselling, trusted information, and care when they need it most.

Every donation goes towards our breast cancer services and research.

Your impact this October

The Irish Cancer Society typically receives only 5% of its income from the Government, so it’s thanks to the generosity of our wonderful donors, fundraisers and volunteers that we can provide services and support to ensure nobody in Ireland faces breast cancer alone. Your generous donations fund ground-breaking breast cancer research and provide free support services and care to people affected by breast cancer, throughout Ireland.

€525

will cover the cost of one night of Night Nursing, providing end-of-life care to a breast cancer patient in their own home.

€60

will cover the cost of a counselling session to help someone cope with a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.

€50

can help provide vital clinical equipment for an Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse providing end-of-life care.

This October, we’re encouraging you to be breast aware.

Did you know? 9 out of 10 breast changes won’t turn out to be breast cancer, but it's important to go to your GP if you have any symptoms and get them checked out.

Check out this helpful video from our cancer nurse Roz
on how to check your breasts. Everyone’s normal is different, so it’s important to know what this looks like for you.

Breast pain alone is not usually a symptom of breast cancer.

We have collected the most frequently asked questions about our Pink campaigns.
If you are new to our fundraiser or our website, we encourage you to look them over, and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact our team. Thank you.
