Running for the Cancer Society 🎗️

Monday 2nd Mar

Another month begins, and once again, I lace up my running shoes for something bigger than myself.

Running is not always easy. Some days the legs are heavy. Some days the weather in Ireland is cold and unforgiving. But every kilometre reminds me why I started, to support the Cancer Society and to stand with those fighting a battle they did not choose.

Cancer affects families, friends, parents, and children. It changes lives in ways words cannot explain. Through this challenge, I want to do my small part to raise awareness, to show support, and to remind those fighting that they are not alone.

Every step I take is for:

  • The fighters still in treatment.
  • The survivors who inspire us.
  • The families supporting their loved ones.
  • And the ones we remember. 💛

Running has taught me discipline, resilience, and gratitude. When my legs get tired, I think about the strength of someone going through chemotherapy. When I feel like slowing down, I remember why I started.

This month, I continue the journey. More kilometres. More purpose. More heart.

If you can, please support the cause. Share the message. Encourage someone. Check in on someone. Together, we can make a difference.
