Louise’s fundraiser for Irish Cancer Society
Monday 26th JanWith another birthday just around the corner, I’d like to ask my friends and family that, instead of buying me a card or a gift this year, you might consider using those funds to make a donation to the Irish Cancer Society.
As many of you know, this past year has been an incredibly difficult one for mam and for our whole family. Throughout it all, the Irish Cancer Society has been there every step of the way. The staff at the Daffodil Centre in Beaumont Hospital were absolutely outstanding — always on hand to offer advice, guidance, reassurance, or simply a listening ear when it was most needed.
The support they provide extends far beyond the patient alone; their care, compassion, and understanding for families during such challenging times is truly remarkable. Donating in their honour would mean so much to me, and it’s a small way to give back to an organisation that has given our family so much when we needed it most.
