❤️ 30 MILES, 30 REASONS ❤️

So I’ve had a little idea… and I think it could make my 30-mile challenge in November even more special. 🥹

As most of you know, I’m walking 30 miles in just 7 days to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society, and I’ve decided I don’t want to walk those miles just for myself.

I want to walk them for YOU and the people you love. ❤️

I’m going to dedicate each mile to someone who has been affected by cancer. Someone we’ve sadly lost, someone who’s currently fighting, or someone who’s come out the other side. 💛

The very first mile and the very last mile are already spoken for.

But that leaves 28 miles, and I’d love your help filling them.

And before anyone thinks I’m looking for €100 a mile, don’t panic, I’m not! 😂❤️

There is absolutely NO cost to nominate someone.

All you have to do is send me their name, and I’ll dedicate a mile to them.

Of course, if anyone would like to throw a few euros towards my fundraiser, I’d be beyond grateful. Every little bit genuinely helps. 🥹

But please don’t feel you have to donate to have a name included.

I just think it would be lovely to give every single mile a meaning and remind ourselves of the people we’re doing this for.

So please send me a message if there’s someone you’d like me to carry with me on this challenge. ❤️

I’m starting to think I should’ve read the terms and conditions before signing myself up for this! 🤣🚶‍♀️

30 miles throughout November sounded grand altogether…

Then, in a moment of pure madness, I decided I’d do the whole lot in 7 days instead. 🙃😂

Not a clue who I thought I was when I made that decision, but sure we’re committed now! 🤣

With November fast approaching, I’m getting ready to put these legs to work, all in aid of the Irish Cancer Society! ❤️🎗️

The support I’ve received so far has been absolutely unreal, and I’m genuinely blown away by everyone’s generosity! 🥹❤️

I’m really looking forward to getting started, although I have a feeling I’ll be a lot less enthusiastic about the whole thing by day 4! 😂

But it’s all for a brilliant cause, and if a week of sore legs and questionable life choices helps raise money for people affected by cancer, it’ll be worth every step! ❤️

I genuinely don’t know what to say.

When I signed up to walk 30 miles in November for the Irish Cancer Society, I never imagined the support I’d receive.

€2,300. Every single euro donated by people who have taken time out of their day to support a cause that means so much to me personally.

That’s why I’ve decided to push myself even further and attempt all 30 miles in just 7 days instead of 30.

Because if people can be this generous, the least I can do is give this challenge absolutely everything I’ve got.

So… could we make it to €3,000 before I even put my runners on? 🥹

We’re only €700 away!

This November, I’m taking on a challenge that’s incredibly close to my heart, raising money for the Irish Cancer Society.

I might not be able to change what my family is going through, but what I can do is try turn it into something positive.

So I’m giving myself 7 days to walk 30 miles, and I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got! 💛

I’m doing this for my family, for everyone fighting cancer and for those who sadly never got the chance to win their battle. ❤️‍🩹

But I NEED YOUR HELP! 🙏

This November, I’m challenging myself to walk 30 miles to raise much-needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society. 💛

Cancer is one of those words you never really think will affect your own family, until suddenly it does.

It changes lives, turns families upside down and brings a whole lot of emotions that you can never truly prepare yourself for.

This year, cancer has become something very personal to me and my family. I’ve seen firsthand just how heartbreaking, frightening and unfair this horrible disease can be. 💔

And while I know walking 30 miles won’t change what my family or so many other families are going through, I want to do something. Something that might make even the smallest difference to someone else facing the same battle.

So, throughout November, I’ll be putting one foot in front of the other, not just for my own family, but for every person fighting cancer, every family supporting someone they love, and every person we’ve sadly lost along the way. ❤️

I’m not asking anyone to donate more than they can afford. Even €1 or €2 would mean the absolute world to me. And if donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this post would help more than you know.

Every donation, every share and every word of encouragement will help keep me going.

30 miles. One month. One cause that means more to me than words can explain. 🎗️
