We all know someone who has been affected directly or indirectly by cancer, so it is a cause close to everyone’s heart, and I am proud to be part of the program to raise awareness and provide support. I’m doing this skydive in memory of my mum,
Wednesday 6th Aug Josephine Rafferty, who passed away from cancer on 2nd May 2013, and as a breast cancer survivor myself, after being diagnosed in June 2021.This jump is for her, for me, and for everyone affected by cancer. It’s my way of honoring her memory and giving back to those who supported me through my own journey.
My goal is to raise at least €520, with part of that covering the cost of the jump and the rest going directly to support the vital work of the Irish Cancer Society.
