45000 Steps

My annual 45000 Steps challenge but this year I’ve a team with me!

Welcome to my fundraiser page! 👋

In March 2021 I came up with an idea to walk 45000 steps on Daffodil Day, one step for each person diagnosed with Cancer in Ireland. My lovely father in law was very ill at the time and unfortunately we lost him just 3days after my first challenge.

I have continued on the step challenge each year since. I still walk the 45000 steps every Daffodil Day even though the number of people diagnosed has dropped slightly.

This year will be my last year walking on Daffodil Day ( my back isn’t what it used to be!) so I have a team with me and we are determined to make as much money as we can for The Irish Cancer Society.

Thanks in advance for any support we may get.
