EY is supporting Patient JournEY’s with Irish Cancer Society
We are very excited to launch our fifth year of fundraising for Irish Cancer Society. This year we will be fundraising to support patient journeys to cancer treatment in collaboration with the Irish Cancer Society.
Patients across Ireland face significant barriers in accessing cancer treatment, including high travel costs, limited or no income, mobility issues, and lack of public transport. The service directly addresses these challenges by offering free, door-to-door transport using trained volunteer drivers.
Each €30 fundraised will facilitate another patient journey through this vital service.
Thanks to your support, our Daffodil Day fundraising could provide:
43
patients with transport to and from chemotherapy treatment using Irish Cancer Society's Volunteer Driver Service
25
Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses with vital clinical equipment
21
counselling sessions to help a person cope with a cancer diagnosis
