Worried cyclist needs help...
Hi, I am taking part in The Pfizer Ireland Cycle on June 20th and 21st 2025 together with 250 Pfizer colleagues and friends in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
In this photo is someone who should know better (not a cyclist - very worried about surviving this madness!)
and
Majella, my wife, who has been amazing in managing her journey through breast cancer diagnosis, BRCA2 gene diagnosis, therapies, surgeries, and all the difficult challenges that come with these diagnoses. Majella's strength, positivity, and determination are incredible and surely have to inspire a very dodgy cyclist!
Whatever we can do in this event to make it a little easier for others, and for improved outcomes for others, will go some way to show our gratitude to those incredible professionals who helped us.
And when 250 mad people do it, then it becomes a movement and when they get lots of support we can achieve great things!
I am taking to the road on a 280+ km two-day journey from Pfizer Grange Castle (Dublin), via Pfizer Newbridge (Kildare) and on to Pfizer Ringaskiddy (Cork).
The purpose of the cycle is to raise awareness of cancer and raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
All donations will go toward funding life-changing cancer research projects and vital cancer support services and ensure that The Irish Cancer Society can continue to be there for every single person impacted by cancer when they need it most.
