Day 9

Thursday 2nd Apr
THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME AND DONATED TO THIS FUNDRAISER 💛🙌🎉 Unfortunately I ended up with a chest infection on my last 3 miles for this challenge so I went out for a stroll to make up the miles. The support I had this charity have received is so overwhelming, this charity has now received funds to help with supporting patients and families to battle cancer and to help those who are in end of life care to be comfortable. Not only this but they help support the families of loved ones who have passed away from this horrible disease! Nearly every second person we meet when we walk down the street has either had cancer or has had someone close to them battle this disease or unfortunately lost their battle. I am truly grateful that I got to take part in raising vital funds for this charity and to do something to honor my best friend Jessica Kelly and keep her memories alive even if she is no longer with us anymore 💔 I will continue running, this fundraiser has made me aware of how important it is to spread awareness and show people that anything is possible and if I can do it so can you ! I literally have no words only just to say Thank You and please keep supporting charities like the Irish Cancer Society so they can continue their endless devotion to helping people in some of their worst moments of their life’s 💛

Day 8 - Celebrate Everyday 🎉🫶🏼

Thursday 26th Mar
3 more miles left and we reached our target 🎯 We should always celebrate everyday! Celebrate being able to get out of bed, celebrate having food on the table, celebrate being fit to work and just celebrate being lucky enough to live and have wonderful people in our lives. Celebrating every small detail in our everyday day lives and all the people in our lives, where ever they are, this is a luxury that we all should be proud of and aware of ! Today I choose to celebrate that we have reached our fundraising target for this magnificent charity and I am so lucky to have had so many people along this journey to celebrate my achievement of getting out running again and recognising this fantastic charity 💛🏃🏼‍♀️ Forever I will always celebrate Jessica’s life and the life I get to live because of people like you who makes a difference 💪🙌🎉

Day 7 - HAPPY DAFFODIL DAY

Saturday 21st Mar
Today is one of my favourite days , daffodil day 🌼 every year I do my best to support this charity by buying a daffodil and at this rate I could sell them to raise more for this charity I have so many ! But what a wonderful day it was today for it, and what a wonderful thing to be able to say 🌼 Thank you to everyone for your support so far it really means the world to me and I will keep going until I get the 26.2 mile challenge completed🙌🏆🏃🏼‍♀️ Only 6.2 miles left to go, keep your eyes peeled on this space 👀🫶🏼💛

Day 6

Sunday 15th Mar
Dear Jessica, Running 4miles today and reaching my personal best felt amazing but it definitely would have felt better to have done it with you by my side. Missing the days where you would be Shouting out crazy things to get me to my goal, but the real end goal here is to raise funds not just to remember you by but to help those who are in need of this magnificent charity! Missing you everyday and thinking of you every step of the way 💛🏃🏼‍♀️🌼🫶🏼

Day 5

Thursday 12th Mar
3 more miles - total done 13/26.2miles ! I really did not feel like getting out and doing this run but I did it and I felt amazing afterwards ☀️ the sun literally was out for that hour and it started to rain again when I walked in the front door 🚪 was it just perfectly timed or Jess was just holding back the rain while I ran ?! 🫶🏼🏃🏼‍♀️🌼

Day 4

Saturday 7th Mar
What a morning 🌅 sun was shining putting everyone in good spirits 🫶🏼 another 3 miles in the bag towards raising awareness and funds for this worthy cause and I’m so proud to be a part of it 💛 join me every step of the way by sharing this fundraiser to raise awareness and support for Irish Cancer Society and to help keep our Jessica’s memory’s alive 🫶🏼💛 she definitely was looking down on me this morning cheering me on ! 🏃🏼‍♀️💪☀️

Day 3 - (4/03/26)

Thursday 5th Mar
My first 5km (3miles) in 9years and having you by my side Jess the whole way 💛🫶🏼 tomorrow my legs will pay for it but it felt so full to have completed this today ! 7 miles completed altogether now this week feels amazing and seeing all the support so far is just incredible so thank you all so much 🫶🏼 💪🏃🏼‍♀️ we have got this ! Please feel free to share with your friends and family as every little bit counts for this amazing charity, your contribution helps them continue their work in both saving, preventing and supporting those who are at their end of life who have fought with the utmost bravery and their families 💛 No life was ever lost and not learned from, anyone who has passed away from this disease or has fought it and made it through has helped charity’s like this to improve treatments to beat cancer💪 remembering every life that fought with bravery and courage 🫶🏼

Day 2- (3/03/26)

Thursday 5th Mar
An early morning 6:30am run while the ground was frosty and every step in the grass would make it crunch, enjoying the crisp morning air as the sun drew closer and the moon began tucking away until night again. 2 miles of just pure bliss and imagining what Jess would say if she was there with me 💛

Day 1

Sunday 1st Mar
It’s been a long time since I used to run but … what a feeling !!!
This evening I completed 2 miles of the challenge (3.4km) and to say I feel great to have done this to support this cause is an understatement 💛
I could just hear Jessica’s voice in my head screaming keep going you’ve got this, having the feeling she was by my side this evening felt pure. Missing you everyday🤍
A moon light run 🫶🏼💛

In Memory of Jessica Kelly 🫶🏼

Monday 9th Feb
I will try and attempt to run what I can each day during the month of March to fundraise money for Irish Cancer Society . I will be doing this to honour and in memory of one of the Bravest and Kindest souls I had the pleasure to know, my best friend Jessica Kelly. Please donate what you can and follow me along the way towards raising founds for those who need it the most and towards the Irish cancer society researching new medicines and treatments to help cure and treat cancer. I can promise I will try and run a little each day, I am certainly no Usain Bolt but I will do my best ! Every bit counts and all support will not only be appreciated by this wonderful charity but appreciated by those who hold Jessica and her memories close to their hearts forever and always 🤍

Thank you to my Sponsors
