Thank you again for all your kind donations.
So in preparing for this day I had thought I would get trench foot :) as ive been out in rain, wet ground, bog ground, really putting Persil and Daz to the test!!
But on the day the sun came out in strength and it was heat stroke and getting sun burnt, I was in the end wondering about!
I had a great day and did the 10km just over 1hr and 30mins. I crossed the starting line about 32 mins into the marathon by the clock and finished by the clock at 2hrs and 5mins.

Monday 27th May
I am taking part in the mini marathon on 2nd June, then on 30th June I am taking part in the colour dash.
Taking part as sadly cancer touches many families and there are good support services out there for families that the irish cancer society is fundraising for, so hoping to help raise some money for these services. 
I have been training since February, it has been a gradual training process, credit goes to Dinny my Labrador and Romeo my brothers Bernese Mountain Dog, who both have been dragging me around getting me into somewhat of a shape! Looking forward to 2nd June, id say the crowd atmosphere will be great and 30th June just looks like alot of fun to be honest, will share photos!  Sharing photos also of the ground I have been covering, so that is Tipperary, (Slievenamon) Kilkenny and Kildare (Offaly border)
