That word Cancer ..
Thursday 21st Mar No-one wants to hear the word cancer. It took our Mam in 2010 at 61, our Dad in 2023 at 77 and just this month our brave beautiful niece, my goddaughter, Melissa at just 27 years of age. Melissa and myself collected for Daffodil Day in 2016 and it’s still hard to believe that Melissa was diagnosed early last year and 13 months later she has passed. Even during her treatment Melissa ran the women’s mini-marathon raising over €14k …a true testament to Melissa’s positivity and awareness that other people needed support and cancer waits for no-one. Daffodil Day is this Friday 22nd March , I will be at Hueston station in Dublin, but there will be volunteers all around the country so please donate what you can or even online , wear a daffodil and please show your support.. 💛 ShareThank you to my Sponsors
