Monday 8th Sep
Each day, I'm doing two or three small walks to keep my mileage up. Each day on my first walk, I try to go a little further than I did the day before. Today I managed 1.5 miles up the road and 1.5 miles back home.  It's amazing what you see while out walking, all the small things you miss when driving a car. Today I found several holly bushes, but like an idiot, I forgot to take a photo of them. Here is yet another photo of some of the beautiful farmland that surrounds our village.

At a birthday party in Gorey last night and we stayed over in the motorhome, I've been walking around the park this morning, already have 1254 steps done.

Weather has been nice today, I just want to thank everyone that has supported me, it really helps me focus on the task. Currently my supporters have donated €551 and there is more promised, thank you. Tomorrow I might make a video while I'm out walking, just to show you how determined I am about raising money for the Irish Cancer Society.

Thursday 4th Sep
As it was a rather miserable day today, I didn't go for my walk until after dinner. 2.9 miles covered today, it's turned out to be a nice evening. The attached photo shows one of our local farmers working the field. It's a good job the rain stopped or I might not have got out today.
