“I am taking part in The Pfizer Ireland Cycle on June 20th and 21st 2025, together with 250 Pfizer colleagues and friends in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. We are taking to the road on a 280+ km two-day journey from Pfizer Grange Castle (Dublin), via Pfizer Newbridge (Kildare) and on to Pfizer Ringaskiddy (Cork).
We all know someone who has been affected directly or indirectly by Cancer. My own wife Joanne was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2019, requiring a total thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine therapy. Thankfully she has since recovered, and in the meantime gave birth to our son Fionn in 2022 :-) Throughout her journey we saw first hand the great work and services that organisations such as the Irish Cancer Society provide to patients.
The Pfizer Ireland Cycle is part of a larger “Move for Cancer” program during the months of April, May and June 2025 and includes a series of activities across all our Pfizer sites in Ireland. The myriad of events, including running, walking, music gigs, swimming, etc. will culminate with the Pfizer Ireland Cycle on the 20th and 21st June.
