Today marks one year since Dad passed. 💔🪽❤️

It’s hard to believe an entire year has gone by. In some ways, it feels like yesterday, and in others, it feels like a lifetime.

I’m happy to say I have completed the June Walking Challenge for the Irish Cancer Society in Dad’s memory. Every step was for him. 🫶💛

I have exceeded both my walking target and my fundraising goal. I’m completely overwhelmed by the generosity, kindness, and support people have shown. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🫶

Not a day goes by that we don’t talk about Dad, remember him, or miss him. We miss him laughing at his own stories that he thought were hilarious, his laugh and all the little things that made him who he was. Those are the moments that stay with us.

Although he’s no longer here with us, he lives on in all of us—in our memories, our stories, our laughter, and the parts of him we carry every day.

Thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged me, shared my fundraiser, or simply thought of our family. Your support has helped raise vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society & to assist other families with their journey through Cancer.

Dad, we love you. We miss you every single day. You’ll always be with us. ❤️🪽

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share an update on my progress with my challenge so far.

Thank you so much to each and everyone of you that have liked, shared commented & donated to my post. I am absolutely blown away by people’s generosity. 🫶🫶

These funds will go far in helping families in need of the Irish Cancer Society Services.

On Saturday, I reached 15 miles/24km’s. I have taken a well earned rest today & will get back on the road again tomorrow 🚶‍♀️🥰

I'm taking part in the Walking challenge in June for the Irish Cancer Society. Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to my fundraising target and helps cancer patients and their families.

After a courageous six-year battle with cancer, we sadly lost my Dad on 1st July 2025.

Throughout every challenge he faced, he remained incredibly positive, strong, and determined, never allowing his illness to define him. His resilience and bravery inspired everyone around him, and he fought with unwavering courage until the very end. Even during the hardest days, he continued to show hope. His strength of character and fighting spirit will never be forgotten. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for the precious memories he gave us. 💔❤️

We were very grateful for the support of the Irish Cancer Society during that time.

Every donation goes directly to them & will help other families in need of their support.

Every June we celebrate dads.

Dads who are always there for us.

Dads we miss who were always there for us.

And dads we want to be there for now. 💛
