Friends, we shouldn't need charities to do basic things ...but sadly we do.  The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) is there to help patients and their families.   I'm walking 30 miles in September for the Irish Cancer Society to give a little back for the help they gave me. Every donation, big or small,  helps cancer patients and their families, especially those in hardship or distant from cancer services.

Well I did it.  Today I hit 67km or 39 miles since Sept 1.  Thanks to everyone who sponsored and anyone who joined me.  Most updates on Strava and FB.  I did this to help a cause that I owe a lot too -the Irish Cancer Soc.  I hope you never need them but if you do-they're great.  I generally don't like sponsored walsk/runs/swims but I also wanted to rebuild stamina etc so this challenge appealed to me.  Thanks again.  B
