Walking for a Cause Close to My Heart

This September, I will be walking every day in support of the Irish Cancer Society — a cause that means more to me now than ever before.

In March of this year, I lost my beloved brother Pat to cancer. His strength, courage, and sense of humor stayed with him right until the end, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. Losing someone so close has changed my perspective on life and deepened my commitment to helping others who are facing this devastating disease.

That’s why I’ve decided to take part in the Irish Cancer Society’s walking challenge throughout the month of September. Every step I take is for my brother — and for the thousands of families across Ireland who are affected by cancer every year.

The Irish Cancer Society provides vital services including:

Free cancer support and advice

Night nursing care at home

Funding for life-saving cancer research

If you’re able to, I would be incredibly grateful for any donation — big or small — to support this cause. Your support will not only honor my brother’s memory but also help others in their fight.
