I’m going all in against cancer this Daffodil Day and raising funds to support cancer patients and their families across Ireland.

You can show your support too, by making a donation to my page today, you will be helping to fund the Irish Cancer Society's Support Line, free counseling, lifts to treatment, ground-breaking cancer research, funding to families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis and so much more.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to go through cancer alone. Thank you!

Thanks to your support, my Daffodil Day fundraising could provide:

In memory of my mom Nuala

Wednesday 26th Mar
This weekend, I won’t be doing Mother’s Day flowers — but don’t forget to celebrate your own mom/mammy/mum/ma. 💞

Instead, I want to focus on something close to my heart. This Friday, March 28th, is Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, and this year, it means more to me than ever.

For almost 20 years, my incredible mom, Nuala, spent the week before Daffodil Day picking buckets of daffodils and then collecting on the street in Bruff with other wonderful volunteers. We never knew that one day, cancer would be the very reason we’d lose her.

Some of you may already know, but my mom passed away last July. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in September 2023, went through chemo and major surgery, and had her last treatment this very week last year. She fought so hard and got the all-clear in May, but sadly, the cancer returned, and we lost her just a couple of months later.

To honour her memory and continue the work she cared so much about, I’m selling small bunches of colourful tulips for a minimum of €20, with 100% of proceeds going to the Irish Cancer Society.

✨ Limited to 24 bunches
✨ Delivered locally this Friday
✨ Option to include a short message

If you’d like to order, message me tomorrow once I post the details on my stories. I’ll share the donation link for payment on my instagram @flowersbykarenlimerick (I might also offer a Revolut option), and you can send me your delivery details, etc.

This isn’t about the flowers themselves—it’s about thoughtfulness, giving back, remembering those we’ve lost, and supporting those still fighting.

If you’d like to support, thank you. If you’d like to share my link, thank you. And if you can, please take a moment this Mother’s Day to hug your mom a little tighter.

Thank you for remembering, supporting, and helping me keep Mom’s spirit alive

Thank you to my Sponsors

Hi Karen, well done with such a beautiful & worthwhile idea. You did my flowers last year for my wedding (Laura & Tom @ St.Camillas) As you already know my darling Tom passed away just 16xweeks ago. The pain of losing someone to cancer is indescribable as we both know too well. Keep up the good work. Laura X
